Half and Half

The ambulance sirens screeched as it flew down the street. Desperately making an attempt to make it to the hospital before it was too late.

"Steven! She's nearing critical mass she can't last any longer!" A paramedic yelled at the driver.

"She's weighing us down for Christ sake; I'm going as fast as I can Clara! What the heck is happening to her?" The driver turning around and turning back as he shuddered at the site in the back of the ambulance.

"Hell if I know, this is definatly the weirdest one we've gotten, but I don't think she'll last too much longer she's swelling too fast."

The girl's name was Jess Longuemare, a twenty-four year old girl with light brown back length hair and brown eyes, a trim body, and ample breasts. But life threw her a curve ball and was now in a predicament that has altered changed her into something she is not. She was not always like this; let's take a look back on earlier today.

"You awake babe?" I heard Mike asking as roll onto my shoulder. We have been going out for about a week and I think he is great, someone that actually gets me.
"Yeah, hey where you going Mike?" He is getting his pants on, well I guess if he didn't make an attempt to wake me up then it would be a bad sign
"Well, it is Thursday Jess, some of us got work and I figured I'd tell you I'm going."

I began to wipe my eyes and gave him a yawning nod of approval. I gave him a kiss goodbye as he walked out of my bedroom. I then wondered what I was gonna do with myself today, it was 7am and I was already awake. My boss at Target gave me the day off cause of all the hours I put in after Thanksgiving. I guess I should do some errands or something so I can keep busy. But first I gotta get dressed and stuff, I don't think people want me in this pink T-shirt and my underwear in public. Uh, let's see its kind of cold out so some jeans, this button down T-shirt is fine I don't wanna be too hot, and my favorite boots.

That was a fun day of shopping and got took a chunk out of time till Mike gets home. I got him his present, which isn't easy to pick for a guy like him, got some food and snacks and a pack of gum from the groceries, and picked out what I want for Christmas, I saw the cutest puppy at the mall and I got to have him! I threw my coat on my bed and kicked off my boots and made my way to the living room.

Another hour passes by as I sit in front of the TV flipping channels to find anything good. Least Mike gets off work in an hour, but it’s gonna be a long hour cause there nothing good on at 2 in the afternoon anyway.

Thirty minutes pass as I continue the routine of channel surfing for something good, I'm kind hungry but I don't wanna spoil my appetite in case Mike wants to go somewhere. I did buy gum; I love Bubblicious with a passion because it always tasted so great and had some many flavors. This must be a new one cause I've never heard of watermelon and cherry flavored, it looks weird too I never had a half red and half green striped gum before, I bet it tastes great.

I can't believe I'm getting up from comfortable couch to get some gum, Mike better get home quick so I don't waste any of this stuff. Finally I get to the counter and take a little cube out of the pack and start my journey back to the couch. I think I want this now as I prepare to sit back down. I start unwrap it and I meet with dark and light green stripes that end abruptly against a fine dark red. I sat down and put my feet on the table. I put the gum in my mouth and began to chew.

"Wow" I said aloud, I'm actually kind of surprised this has stronger flavor than most gums. And it changes from cherry to watermelon with every chew that’s kind of a cool touch too. This is really good, especially for gum; maybe Mike will want some when he gets home.

"Man this is just eating cherries and watermelon it tastes like juice too, never knew I could get so excited over gum of all things." I said to myself. I can't get past how good this is, mmmm.

Jess closed her eyes in the pleasure of the taste. It was at this time a dark shade of red began to spread at her feet. She opened her eyes to see how much time had passed. When she was met with a weird site.

"Hmm, that’s not right, its winter and I was wearing boots when I was outside today..." I'm not sure what that is, my toes are all red and it’s spreading upwards. What is this stuff?

She licked her thumb and tried to smudge it off as it came closer to her ankles.

Why isn't this coming off? I'll try again. Hey these tastes like...cherries? The gum did this? What the heck is this prank gum?

Jess lifted her pant legs to see her knees were now completely covered in red skin making its course upward. She sat up and could only watch as the red came closer and closer.

What did this gum do my legs? They smell and taste like cherries, what is this stuff? Where’s the wrapper?

The red reached just under is midsection and stopped.

Well it’s nice that it’s stopped but it looks like I got red pants on. Let's see this wrapper, uh... bold new taste... long lasting, well they didn't lie about that... Warning: In some cases may create skin problems and in severe cases minor bloating. Well I don't think I feel bloated so only a skin problem, where’s the number I need to get this stuff off.

She looked all over the the package but nothing on it about a number to call. Her stomach gave a little rumble, which she ignored because she was hungry regardless. What Jess did not realize is that two shades of green stripes began to streak up her washboard stomach. Still she searched for some type of address or contact info. The green had engulfed her chest and began to take her arms. She glanced at her arms for a moment and that’s all it took.

Green stripes! Watermelon, Oh no! This can't be good at all; I just hope it's not a severe case. I do feel full all of a sudden, oh where’s Mike I need him here!

Jess looked down at her feet on the carpet below, they were red as an apple or cherry in this case, but seemed a little bigger than usual. She felt full, the taste of the gum intensifying with each chew, she wanted to spit it out but simply couldn't. Just then there was a louder rumble from her stomach. She winced.

Oh my hips! They're growing! My legs too!

Indeed her lower half was swelling as her jeans grew tight, straining the top button. Her ass grew bigger as cherry juice began to inflate her lower body. Her hips growing larger and larger. Her jeans were too tight and the threads began to strain to hold together. Suddenly a gunshot ping went off and her jean button went flying, unzipping her zipper taking some pressure off. She began to walk towards the couch again, but each movement was becoming harder and harder. She waddled as fast as she could her legs becoming huge and heavy as juice sloshed.

The cherry flavor is what’s doing this, my legs are becoming cherries. I can't walk much longer.

As if to answer her prayers, her legs stopped filling, but the damage was already done. Her hips could fit a hoola hoop around it and her legs were starting to become hard to bend. Jess sat down, she felt taller and only realized that her butt lifted her higher. Her jeans had nearly split with all the movement she had done but they held strong. Just then Jess noticed her belly was a little pudgier. As she gasped she swallowed the gum.

That can't be good, how could I have been so stupid! Stupid gum look what it did to my legs, I look like a whale!

Just then her belly gave yet another rumble. She moaned in displeasure as her belly tightened and started to grow. Her arms were being raised by her belly; her stomach had already grown to 9 months with triplets in a matter of seconds and continued to grow. The bottom button of her her shirt popped off, as the others began to strain, pop, pop, pop, the button flew about the room as her shirt was down to its final button, until it too flew off leaving her in her bra. Luckily she was sitting on the couch as her belly began to roll over and into her puffed up legs. Still she grew taller, a good 2 feet by now, her arms started to swell and her ample breasts began to become larger as well. Tightening itself around her green striped skin

Stupid gum, it’s turned me into a half cherry, half watermelon monster.

At this she began to cry as her upper body grew wider and taller with juices. But after a few more seconds her upper body had stopped. Her belly was gigantic, a mockery of what it once was. She was now 3 feet taller, and she was as wide as her hips. Still she cried, when suddenly the door and Mike walked in.

Thank god he's home I thought.” Mike honey I'm in here, I'm in a bit of a situation. Boy that was an understatement, the pressure is terrible.


"what's wrong....Oh my God, what's wrong with you?” Mike asked.

"I don't know, I tried some gum and now here I am, please you got to help me." I said.

"Uh, uh, you’re on your own Jess.” Mike replied turning and running.

Mike ran out of the house faster than a bat out of hell. Leaving Jess helpless and alone.

That rat bastard, I should have never dated him. I got to do something before this gets any worse, but my phone is at the other end of the couch and I can barely move my arms as it is.

Jess pushed all her weight to the right in a desperate attempt to call for an ambulance. Her top heavy figure caused some awkward sloshing but she was able to reach it with her increased height giving her a longer body to reach for the phone. She dialed as quickly as she could resting her elbows on her belly.

Hello? Paramedics, I need assistance, I-I had an allergic reaction to something.

"Where are you now ma'am?"

At 731 Dudley Street, please hurry I'm swelled up as it is, make sure to bring the biggest ambulance you got just to be safe.

"Okay miss we'll be there as fast as we can."

The operator hung up and Jess sighed a relief.

I hope they can get this juice out of me, or fit me in the ambulance for that matter. Just then she began to feel tight again this time all over. She had rolled herself on her back and watched as her legs and belly began to swell again. Jess’s jeans ripped and she was left in her black panties. She felt her legs become farther apart as they began to be assimilated by her growing middle. Her breasts grew outward blocking her view as her chest began to suck in her arms. Jess whimpered as she grew larger on the couch. She was also rising off the couch as her back was begging to fill with juice. The couch was surprisingly holding its ground despite all the weight on it. She felt her crotch start to move downward and her legs were now unable to bend. Her belly was huge as her hips tried to keep pace. Her arms had been sucked in and she was left only with her hands, and a few seconds later her feet were all that remained of her legs. Yet her middle, back and breasts grew larger and larger, until her bra finally snapped due to her boobs immense size. The swelling began to slow once more.

What happened to me, how could this happen to me? It was just a piece of gum. Here I am a giant fruit with no arms or legs.

Her wide frame began to tip her off the couch. The weight of the juices inside her sloshed to the side and rolled her over, crushing her table below her. She was embarrassed and ashamed of herself.

The paramedics finally arrived and walked in.

"Holy crap, not another one!" said a male paramedic.

"This is the biggest one we've ever had, how many times have you swelled up dear?" asked a female paramedic

3 or 4 I think, I said.

"Well we gotta get you outta here, before its too late, ok? If you haven't guessed your full of juice but you aren't chewing anymore so that’s a good sign, Steve help me roll her" said the paramedic.

But I ate the gum, I didn't realize it but I think I swallowed it by accident, please just help me.

The paramedics both gave a scared look to one another, then both nodded and began to roll Jess to the front door. The juices sloshed about inside her spherical body. With a few forceful pushes they managed to squeeze her through the narrow door way. The ambulance was parked right outside. Jess felt the grass and cement beneath her as they rolled her towards the street. The ambulances back doors were just big enough to fit her. Jess's horrified neighbors looked on with amused faces and concerned, stern looks. They packed Jess in as best as they could, there was enough space for her but how long would her peace lad this time?

I can't believe I'm a fruit from a piece of gum, I just hope we can make it to the hospital without me getting stuck in here.

"Now, Ms.Longuemare, we've had a few cases like this, some were lucky and some weren't, but you’re the first to actually have swallowed it but only time will tell.” said the female paramedic.

What do you mean not so lucky? I asked her.

"Well your body can only retain so much of the juice and when it all builds up *pop*

Ow, I feel that pressure building up again, oh please don't last too long, I don't want to explode!

"Steve turns on the sirens and hurry she’s starting to swell again!"

Jess watched as her middle began to inch closer and closer towards the top of the ambulance. The female paramedic got out of the back and into the passenger seat as quickly as possible before there was no space left in the back.

In a frantic panic, Jess desperately tried to roll around, rocking herself back and forth, her skin was quivering with each drop of juice, and still she kept growing.

Her belly-button was the first to touch the roof of the car. Although her vision was blocked by her growing chest, she could feel it touch.

Quickly her spherical body brushed against all the sides of ambulance. She was filling out into the square box that was the back of the ambulance. And not a few seconds later she was out of room to grow. Jess felt the immense pressure of being stuck and her body wanting to continue to grow.

This was it she thought to herself. She knew she was going to pop at any second it was only a matter of time.

She winced at the pressure and prayed it would all be over soon. Just then she felt juice around her bottom and she closed her eyes as tight as she could. But after a couple of seconds Jess realized she was not dead but growing smaller. She felt juice start to come out of her mouth and vagina as fast as it could.

The juices started dripping out of the ambulance through the backdoors and out into the street.

Jess was in pure ecstasy feeling the pleasure of the juices flowed out of her. She didn't realize it but she was starting to become smaller and her shape was becoming more visible. And as soon as it started it was over, Jess looked around at empty back of the ambulance, and all that was left was a naked Jess and pools of juice that was left behind.

"Well that was pretty damn lucky for us, huh Miss?" asked the female paramedic.

"You got that right, I thought you said people pop?" asked Jess.

"They do but I have no idea what happened here." replied the paramedic.

"Uhh, what about my skin?"

"It'll go away after a few hours; it's the gum that you swallowed that you should be worried about."
